New material sourced from the UK has been used to replace all panels and carpets. The dashboard is free of cracks and all meters work and display accurately. The radio now features a modern retro classic kit with speakers placed behind the original grill to keep its period-correct appearance. This tiny person does not lack anything when it comes to maintenance, as all fluids, including those in the rear end and transmission, have recently been replaced. The engine was recently removed and all gaskets were replaced, as well as other related parts like the alternator, water pump, thermostat and hoses. A replacement distributor with electronic ignition and sport coil was installed, along with swapping out the original Stromburg carburetor for a Weber 40 and performance header. This small classic's appearance matches its sound quality! A quad tip exhaust system has been installed at the rear to complete the upgrades for the engine. The bottom of the car is in excellent condition, with sturdy floors and all hydraulics thoroughly inspected and replaced with new calipers, pads, rotors, and lines in the front. Additionally, new lines, shoes, and wheel cylinders were installed in the rear. Polyurethane bushings replaced all bushings, while both front and rear were lowered and all springs were replaced. Gas struts have replaced the rear shocks to provide a smoother ride experience. Overall, this is a highly presentable MG Midget.
